Joyousness!
Today a woman who harmonizes chakra energy told me I was stuck and needed to experience joyousness to aid my healing process (more on that tomorrow). Coincidentally, my good friend Leslie Davis, a former concert promoter and Fresno gadabout, called with backstage passes to a radio station concert.
Joyousness! When was the last time I experienced that? Certainly not lately, even before the diagnosis. I was too caught up in my workaday world to take time for joy. The new healthy me will make joy a priority, starting now.
So Leslie, Aly G, Michelle and I took off on scooters (I was feeling really good today) for the Woodward Park amphitheater. The group: the old 70s Latin funk group War. You know: Low. Ri. Der, Why Can’t We Be Friends, Cisco Kid… So many hits led us to the dance floor, where we sang at the top of our lungs. (the evidence is below)
I would call the experience “partial joyousness.” I’ll keep working until I achieve full-on joyousness. It’s good to have goals.
Tracie, This brings me joy!!! To see you having fun… It was so good seeing you yesterday. There are many joyous days to come and I am honored to be sharing this time of healing with you as you create a healthy and happy body. Remember… “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”…. Love you, Lynn
Keep up the fight Tracie! I love reading your blogs because despite the hell you’re going through, nothing gets you down! Keep us updated. Know that there are many people rooting and praying for you, all the way from the east coast!!!
Love,
Melissa
Love the smile on your face all the way through, but especially at the end of the video. I couldn’t hear you singing…little louder next time!
I personally love the new do!
